Tesla’s next Gigafactory is to be built in Canada. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, mentioned intentions to construct a new Gigafactory in North America a number of times, though he didn’t specifically mention another one in the United States.

He made a suggestion that the next factory will be in Canada during a shareholders’ meeting. Furthermore, he has already mentioned Canada. Musk has previously stated that Tesla is in discussions with the Quebec government and that it is also looking into locations in Mexico.
Tesla will formally reveal its intentions and the location of the facility if all goes according to plan and the business can reach an agreement with the local authorities.
